In this role, you will leverage your experience and eagerness to learn to actively support the team. You’ll manage and respond to internal and external customer enquiries, building strong relationships through positive interactions, phone calls and email correspondence. As a self-motivated and quick-thinking individual, you’ll thrive in dynamic environments and excel at multitasking. This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week. No prior steel industry experience is necessary. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. What Will You Do?Responsibilities This position offers variety and opportunity for an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a busy workplace. Alongside general sales and customer service responsibilities, your duties will include:

  • interacting with our customers to manage pick up, counter sales, phone or email orders and enquiries.
  • following up on quotations andinquiries converting theseinto sales opportunities
  • collaborating with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable
  • continuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value proposition
  • provide internal support and regular feedback to relevant sales teams regarding customer and competitor information
