Gotcha Media is the It Girl of social media marketing in Western Australia. We work with businesses that actually do things, build things, insure things, assess things and we help them say something worth listening to.

We partner with clients across Australia and globally, working with brands in insurance, health, construction, logistics and professional services. Different markets, different audiences, same expectation: smart, clear content that cuts through.

We are looking for a Content Strategist & Copywriter to join our Mt Lawley-based team in a part-time or casual role, three days per week. This is not a captions-only job. This is for someone who can think, write, and shape opinions for brands and leaders operating locally and internationally.

What you’ll be doing:

• Writing thought leadership content for founders, executives and leadership teams, primarily for LinkedIn
• Creating long-form and short-form copy for Gotcha Media and a range of Australian and global B2B clients
• Interviewing clients and internal stakeholders to extract insights, stories and strong points of view
• Translating complex or technical topics into clear, confident, engaging content
• Ensuring brand voice consistency across multiple clients, industries and markets
• Collaborating with our content, design and video team to bring ideas to life
• Contributing to Gotcha Media’s own brand voice and positioning
• Staying across industry and content trends without blindly following them

This role is for you if you:

• Are a strong writer with a strategic mindset
• Can write in someone else’s voice without it sounding generic or safe
• Understand B2B audiences and enjoy working with complex industries
• Are comfortable writing for leaders operating across different regions and markets
• Are confident sharing ideas and pushing content beyond surface-level thinking
• Can manage multiple clients and deadlines without losing quality

This role is not for you if you:

• Only want to write captions or hooks
• Rely heavily on templates, trends or recycled LinkedIn phrases
• Prefer safe, approved messaging over original thinking
• Need every idea handed to you before you start

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in copywriting, content strategy, journalism, communications or a related field
• Strong examples of B2B or thought leadership writing
• Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or Media is desirable
