The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in selling into the government sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public sector procurement and a proven track record of selling IT Managed Services and Cyber Security.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Identify and secure new business opportunities within government departments and agencies

✔️ Build, nurture, and expand relationships with key stakeholders

✔️ Position solutions strategically to meet customer needs and address business challenges

✔️ Lead end-to-end sales processes including tenders, proposals, and presentations

✔️ Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience

✔️ Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and growth objectives

What You’ll Bring:

✅ Proven success in business development or sales within the public sector

✅ Strong knowledge of Managed Services, Cloud, Security, or Networking

✅ Existing network within government agencies (state or federal)

✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills

✅ Strategic thinking with a consultative, solutions-based approach

✅ Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
