Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support the delivery of an enterprise-wide program within a large, complex organisation. This role will coordinate several initiatives simultaneously, working across project planning, stakeholder engagement, implementation, governance, reporting, and vendor management. You will partner with senior leaders, subject-matter experts, external providers, and internal delivery teams to ensure programs are well designed, effectively implemented, and delivered to a consistently high standard. The opportunity would suit a delivery-focused professional who is comfortable operating in an evolving environment, can bring structure to multiple work streams, and enjoys turning strategic ideas into practical outcomes.
Your new role
You will lead and coordinate programs from initial planning through to implementation, developing delivery plans, schedules, milestones, and roadmaps to maintain momentum across the portfolio. You will monitor progress, manage risks, issues, dependencies, and actions, and proactively address obstacles that could affect delivery. A key part of the position will involve building relationships with senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops and planning sessions, and coordinating input from business leaders and subject-matter experts. You will also manage external vendors and delivery partners, support review and approval processes, and ensure each initiative is ready for implementation. You will prepare governance materials, executive updates, and program reporting while maintaining accurate documentation, decision logs, and delivery records. The role will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and the continued improvement and expansion of the broader portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering complex enterprise programs involving multiple stakeholders, delivery streams, and external partners. You will bring strong project or program management capability, excellent planning and organisational skills, and the ability to balance several competing priorities without losing focus on quality or outcomes. You will be confident engaging and influencing at senior levels, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and communicating clearly through presentations, reports, workshops, and governance forums. Experience managing vendors, coordinating implementation activities, and producing executive-level reporting will be important. This position will suit someone who can operate independently, establish structure in a changing environment, and take ownership of delivery. Previous experience with workforce capability, organisational development, transformation, or enterprise-wide people initiatives would be advantageous, but broader program delivery backgrounds will also be considered.
