Opportuntiy for a General Foreman, south GC Your new company

Our client is a well-established construction contractor with a strong pipeline of work across South East Queensland. Due to continued project growth, they are seeking an experienced General Foreman / Supervisor to join the team on a landmark high-rise residential development in the Coolangatta area. This is an opportunity to join a reputable builder with a collaborative culture, strong safety focus and a proven track record of delivering quality projects.

Your new role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities and ensuring construction works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. You will play a key role in managing subcontractors, driving productivity and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day site operations
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and labour resources
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with programme requirements
• Monitor and enforce site safety systems and procedures
• Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and site inspections
• Oversee construction quality and defect prevention
• Coordinate construction sequencing and trade interfaces
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays
• Assist with planning and programming activities
• Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental and company requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a General Foreman, Supervisor or Senior Foreman on commercial or multi-residential projects
• Demonstrated experience delivering medium to high-rise construction projects
• Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills
• Thorough understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
