This organisation is seeking three Senior Communications Advisor's with varied length contracts available.


Your new role

As the Senior Communication Advisor, he will play a key role in shaping organisational messaging, supporting stakeholder engagement and delivering strategic communications initiatives across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working closely with the Communications Manager, internal communications team, government representatives and external stakeholders, you will develop high-quality communications that strengthen reputation, support organisational objectives and help drive positive outcomes.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic communication plans.
  • Preparing ministerial briefs, cabinet-related documentation, speeches, correspondence and stakeholder communications.
  • Providing advice on communication strategy, reputation management and issues management.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with government, industry and community stakeholders.
  • Monitoring emerging issues, policy developments and industry trends.
  • Supporting the delivery of key projects, organisational initiatives and engagement activities.


What you'll need to succeed

As the successful candidate, you will be a confident communications professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and can build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be an exceptional writer with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging and audience-appropriate communications. To be successful, you will ideally have experience in similar communications, corporate affairs, public relations or stakeholder engagement positions, preferably but non-exclusive to government, not-for-profit or other highly regulated environments.


You will also bring:
  • Strong media, public relations and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.
  • The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
