About The Opportunity Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as a Registered Nurse! We’re looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our Oncology team on a part-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered. Our 30-bed ward is dedicated to providing the best treatment possible, and our nurses are here to support patients and their families whilst you are in our care. About Us Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 339-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport. With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology. As a Registered Nurse, Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care
  • Supervise and guide nursing team members
  • Educate and support patients in recovery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care
  • Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care
  • Serve as a role model for safe practices

Essential Criteria

  • Authority to Work in Australia
  • Minimum 12 months experience as an RN
  • CVAD competent
  • Working with Children check (if relevant)
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, customer-focused approach
