Accountant - Business Services team - Melbourne CBD

Join H&R Block’s Business Services Tax and Accounting Team While we’re best known for our network of retail offices across Australia, our Business Services team within our Accounting & Advisory division is dedicated to supporting SMEs, partnerships, and trusts with their tax and accounting needs. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Business Services Tax Accountant to join our growing Melbourne team. In This Role, You Will

• Provide services to a portfolio of business clients with direct client interaction
• Prepare BAS/IAS, financial statements, and tax returns for companies, trusts, and individuals.
• Assist with FBT, budgets, forecasts, and tax planning, while working closely with Client Account Managers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

We’re Looking For Someone With

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting (CA, CPA, CTA or IPA qualified)
• 3+ years’ public practice experience
• Strong Xero/XPM skills
• Up to date knowledge of accounting standards and tax legislation
