Key accountabilities include:

  • Drive a coordinated environmental management approach across all operations on the Mayfield campus.
  • Represent the sites within the InfraBuild Environment & Sustainability Network and audit network.
  • Maintain ISO14001 certifications, oversee environmental monitoring, reporting, training and regulatory engagement (EPA/Council).
  • Manage environmental incidents and lead improvement initiatives to enhance performance and resource efficiency.
  • Ensure environmental documentation is maintained and authorised within the Document Management System.
  • Drive and lead proactive environmental improvement initiatives across the Mayfield campus, fostering innovation, continuous improvement and measurable sustainability outcomes.

About your Experience

  • Proven ability to lead and influence environmental and quality initiatives across all levels of the business.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant environmental legislation.
  • Experience with quality systems, problem solving and continuous improvement (manufacturing experience advantageous).
  • Experience with ISO14001 Management Systems Standards, including auditor training (highly regarded).
  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering, environmental science or related discipline (preferred).
