The Opportunity We are inviting an accomplished multi‑site leader to join Journey as a Centre Performance Manager. Other providers call this role an Area Manager. We don’t—because you won’t be leading alone. You will operate within a well‑established ecosystem of Quality, People & Culture, Educational Leadership, Compliance and Operations partners who work with you to uplift practice, strengthen leadership capability and deliver consistent outcomes.This portfolio spans Lara, Winchelsea, Ocean Grove, Bacchus Marsh and St Albans—diverse communities where your leadership will create meaningful impact for children, families and teams. What you will lead
- Performance uplift across multiple services, grounded in Journey Standards
- Coaching and development of Centre Leadership Teams to drive quality, compliance and culture
- Clear accountability to KPIs, operational excellence and a “100% mindset”
- Path to Exceeding: A&R readiness, evidence, and continuous improvement cycles
- Child safety and safeguarding practices as the foundation of all decision‑making
- Cross-functional collaboration with specialists to solve challenges with pace and clarity

- Proven multi‑site leadership experience (ECEC or analogous multi‑site environments)
- A strong coaching orientation and disciplined approach to performance management
- Credibility in quality, compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Confident, composed communication that builds trust and accountability
- Organised, forward‑planning leadership with a values‑led approach
- A deep commitment to outcomes for children, and to developing exceptional leaders
