Integration Quality Manager | Early Childhood Leadership
Be part of something new. Shape the successful integration of services and support the next stage of Journey's growth.
At Journey Early Learning, we believe every child deserves an environment where they can thrive, learn and grow. As our network continues to expand through new builds and acquisitions, we're excited to introduce a brand-new opportunity for an experienced early childhood leader to join our team as an Integration Quality Manager.
This is an opportunity to make an impact beyond a single centre, working alongside leaders and teams as they transition into Journey. You'll help establish strong foundations, build leadership capability and bring our culture, values and approach to life across our growing network.
About The Role
As Integration Quality Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring new and acquired centres experience a smooth, supported and successful transition into Journey Early Learning.
Working closely with Centre Managers, Educational Leaders, Centre Quality Managers and our Support Office teams, you'll guide leaders through periods of change, helping them understand Journey's expectations, embed consistent practices and build the confidence and capability needed for long-term success.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that combines leadership, coaching, quality and change management. You'll work across multiple services, adapting your approach to each centre's needs while helping create consistency, strengthen practices and support positive outcomes for children, families and teams.
If you're an experienced early childhood leader who enjoys developing people, navigating change and influencing outcomes across multiple services, this is an opportunity to broaden your impact and contribute to Journey's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Lead and coordinate the integration of new build and acquired centres into the Journey network, supporting a positive and consistent transition experience.
- Partner with Centre Managers, Educational Leaders and Centre Quality Managers to establish strong foundations and support successful integration.
- Coach, mentor and empower leaders to navigate change, build capability and confidently lead their teams through transition.
- Support the embedding of Journey's culture, values, policies, procedures and ways of working across newly integrated services.
- Work collaboratively with quality, operations and Support Office teams to identify priorities, address challenges and ensure centres receive the right support.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen leadership capability, operational consistency and quality outcomes across services.
- Monitor integration progress, identify emerging risks and work with key stakeholders to implement practical, sustainable solutions.
- Manage competing priorities and adapt to the evolving needs of centres within a growing and dynamic organisation.
About You
You're an accomplished early childhood professional who understands what it takes to build strong teams, support quality practice and lead through change. You're confident working with leaders at different stages of their journey and know how to build trust, influence outcomes and bring people along with you.
You enjoy variety, thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by the opportunity to make a difference across multiple services rather than managing a single centre.
You'll Bring
- Significant leadership experience within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, ideally with exposure to multi-site operations, service transitions, new builds or acquisitions.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting organisational change, with the ability to guide teams through transition and embed new ways of working.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to develop leaders, build confidence and strengthen team capability.
- A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and communicate effectively at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to identify challenges, navigate complexity and drive sustainable improvements.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands across different locations.
- The flexibility and willingness to travel extensively throughout Victoria as required.
At Journey, we're committed to creating a workplace where our people feel valued, supported and empowered to make a meaningful difference. Our EVP pillars — Trust & Belief, Support & Wellbeing, Growth & Development, and Passion & Possibilities — reflect our commitment to our people and the opportunities we create together.
By Joining Journey, You'll Have The Opportunity To
