Permanent Educator | Durack

Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week

🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our Durack Heights team as a Permanent Float Educator.

In this role, you’ll support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing across all age groups, providing consistency and support wherever it’s needed most. Working alongside a collaborative team, you’ll help create safe, engaging, and play‑based learning environments where children feel confident, connected, and supported to grow.

This is an ideal opportunity for an educator who enjoys variety, builds strong relationships quickly, and thrives in a dynamic centre environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support learning and development across all rooms and age groups
  • Assist with daily routines and transitions throughout the centre
  • Deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to observations, documentation, and reflective practice
  • Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to support quality outcomes
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding

💛 About You

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Must have completed National Child Safety Training
  • Confident supporting children across multiple age groups
  • Positive, reliable, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with Storypark or similar platforms is an advantage
