Kennedys is recruiting an enthusiastic Associate with 1-3 years' post admission experience to join our dynamic, close-knit and team-orientated Healthcare practice, assisting with a mix of complex healthcare and medical malpractice files across a range of clients, including medical defence organisations (MDOs). We are looking for a genuine team player, who can develop and maintain excellent client relationships by successfully executing marketing/business development and training activities. Who We Are Looking For

  • Ideally 1+ years' of post-admission experience in defendant medical malpractice and/or healthcare work is preferred
  • Alternatively, a defendant insurance background with a keen interest in developing a career in this specialist area would be considered highly
  • Demonstrable first rate legal/commercial knowledge with strong technical and research skills is essential
  • Strong drafting abilities with a natural flair for providing advice and negotiations in both straightforward and complex matters
  • Run own caseload under supervision
