Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant Merrylands service. In this role, you will guide educational practice, deliver high-quality programs, and support children’s individual learning and development through engaging, play-based experiences that foster growth and curiosity. Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire educators, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a high-performing culture on the floor.
• Mentor, support, and model best-practice early childhood education as the Educational Leader.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgets, resources, and compliance, ensuring smooth centre management.
• Develop and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs that support children’s growth and development.
• Prioritise health, safety, and wellbeing, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for every child.
• Build strong relationships with families and the community, promoting involvement and the centre’s values.

Qualifications And Skills

• Early Childhood Teacher (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Child Protection training/certificate
• Experience or strong interest in leadership and management pathways
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
