Manager (Family Office)
Job Description
Posted on: November 25, 2025
Work with exceptional families. Build an exceptional career.
- Visible, high-impact role supporting sophisticated family groups
- Genuine career development opportunities
- Award-winning firm recognised for excellence, flexibility and supportive culture
The Opportunity
Join a high-performing team supporting a select portfolio of diverse, ultra-high-net-worth families. You will play a pivotal role in integrating family strategy, intergenerational planning, governance, tax, legal and wealth advice into tailored, multi-disciplinary solutions.
This role is uniquely varied. You will partner closely with a Director and experienced Partners across both strategic advisory work (family strategy, intergenerational planning, purpose of wealth, governance and education) and full-service Family Office delivery (treasury and cashflow, multi-entity structures, commercial matters, property and lifestyle support). This is a rare opportunity for someone with strong analytical capability, emotional intelligence and a commercial mindset to build deep, long-term relationships and become a trusted member of the team supporting some of Australia’s most prominent families.
What You’ll Do
Together with experienced leaders, you will:
- Deliver integrated Family Office solutions for a select portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth families, bringing together family strategy, intergenerational planning, governance, tax, legal and wealth advice.
- Help shape and run family meetings and workshops, preparing high-quality materials and supporting families to make clear, well-informed decisions.
- Coordinate with internal specialists and external advisers to ensure smooth implementation across entities, structures, investments and philanthropic activities.
- Support treasury and cashflow oversight for complex family groups, helping ensure funds are in the right place at the right time to meet strategic and day-to-day needs.
- Contribute to Family Office consulting engagements that help families define what matters most, clarify purpose of wealth and support next-generation education and engagement.
- Play an active role in refining how the Adelaide Family Office team operates, bringing ideas that enhance client experience, efficiency and collaboration.
About You
You are a considered, commercially minded professional who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, numbers and people. You combine strong technical capability and high standards with a genuine interest in working closely with families on both strategic and practical matters.
You have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Law or Financial Planning, with CA/CPA (or similar) highly regarded.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a client-facing professional or commercial role (e.g. private client tax, business advisory, wealth, commercial law, banking or corporate finance).
- Strong numerical and analytical capability, with confidence working across entities, structures and complex financial information.
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, client-ready materials and contribute meaningfully in meetings.
- High emotional intelligence and sound judgement.
- A proactive, service-oriented approach, taking ownership, following through on commitments and consistently delivering high-quality work.
- Genuine interest in family strategy, purpose of wealth, governance and intergenerational planning, and a desire to grow your career in Family Office.
