The RoleLead Planner
Reporting to the Project Services Manager you are responsible for leading the planning function across multiple projects, working closely with engineering and project delivery teams to develop, manage, and optimise project schedules.
This is a hands-on role where you will extend beyond maintaining schedules to actively shaping project strategy, identifying risks early, and driving delivery performance.
The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis. A strong Senior will be considered.
Brief Duties
- Lead development and management of integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
- Establish and manage baselines, progress measurement, and reporting frameworks
- Identify critical path, risks, and opportunities to optimise project delivery
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate and realistic schedule inputs
- Provide planning insight to support key project and commercial decisions
- Support resource planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders as required
- Contribute to the development of planning standards and processes within the business
Criteria
- 10–15+ years’ experience in project planning within major projects or consultancy environments
- Advanced capability in Primavera P6 (essential)
- Background in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry projects
- Experience across full project lifecycle (concept, FEED, execution)
- Strong understanding of project controls and delivery dynamics
- Ability to operate autonomously and influence senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing consultancy environment
- Valid work rights
