NSSM represents our commitment to expanding in-house capabilities and delivering exceptional surface mining support.   NSSM is committed to providing top-tier, in-house support, all while embodying Northern Star’s STARR Core Values, with our first project based at the iconic Super Pit.   We are actively seeking a commercially minded Senior Finance Business Partner to drive performance, influence decisions, and support the growth of Northern Star Surface Mining (NSSM) operations.   Here’s what awaits you:   

• Be a trusted finance partner to senior operational leaders, influencing key commercial and strategic decisions.
• Drive financial performance through insight-led partnering with Operational Teams
• Own financial reporting, variance analysis, and month-end outcomes for NSSM
• Provide commercial oversight of contractor claims, ensuring value, accuracy, and compliance
• Support budgeting and forecasting, with a focus on fleet and maintenance expenditure
• Enable strategic growth through clear, forward-looking reporting and dashboards
• Provide commercial input across asset management and maintenance planning

    To thrive in this role, you’ll need:   

• Proven experience in a Senior Finance Business Partner or Management Accounting role.
• Strong operational or site-based experience (highly regarded)
• CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (Pronto highly regarded)
• Advanced Excel and Power BI capability
• Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
