Delivering trusted workforce and recruitment support across NSW Health Pathology Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Admin Off Lvl 6 Remuneration: $83,554.59 - $85,530.07 per annum plus superannuation Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ658304 Location: Newcastle Applications Close: 07 May 2026 - 11:59pm NSW Health Pathology is seeking a motivated and experienced Workforce and Recruitment Support Officer to join our People and Culture team. This role plays a key part in delivering high quality, customer focused workforce and recruitment services in a complex and fast paced environment. You will provide advisory and administrative support across a broad range of workforce operations, working closely with managers, stakeholders and external partners to ensure accurate, timely and compliant outcomes. The role supports key workforce systems and processes and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across NSW Health Pathology. About You You will have recent experience in a client focused workforce or recruitment environment. You will demonstrate:
- Experience supporting workforce or HRIS functions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Sound judgement and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities
- Capacity to interpret and apply industrial awards and policies
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for a diverse range of workforce and recruitment functions, as well as the provision of support and advisory services to users of workforce operations functions including, but not limited to, StaffLink, ROB, PAT, SARA and ClinConnect
- Liaise and work effectively with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate a high quality, best practice, customer focused, value adding and comprehensive HR service
