Change & Communication Analyst (12 month contract), NT Gov

Scope of Works

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Change and Communication Analyst will work in a coordinated approach to deliver a number of activities to support eRostering project. Activities include:

  • Change Impact Analysis - work with program and business stakeholders to clearly identify and document what haschanged between current and future state processes
  • Change workshops & briefings - develop presentation material and briefings and facilitate engagement sessions withboth program and business stakeholders.
  • Communications - Develop and deliver change communications, including updates, presentations, key messages,newsletters, and briefing packs.
  • Change activities - support the Manager with communication, engagement and training interventions that enables asuccessful change journey for stakeholders.
  • Readiness assessments - identify and deliver activities to enable optimal adoption of changes to current practices,workflows and/or processes.
  • Stakeholder partnership - establish and maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Support post implementation and review process

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Over 2 years' experience in a Change and Communication Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience delivering complex business change within large scale transformational programs.
  • Minimum 2 years' hands on communication experience across fast paced and geographically dispersed projects, withstrong design skills using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, intranet tools, Adobe Pro/Illustrator, and other IT tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and building collaborative relationships to support effective changeadoption.
  • Proven ability to develop high quality communication materials tailored for diverse audiences and channels.
  • Ability to apply change management principles, tools, and techniques to support program outcomes.
  • Experience supporting business readiness activities and executing communication strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify delivery risks and implement suitable mitigationstrategies; formal change management qualifications are desirable.

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or Communications) and/orprofessional certification in a recognised Change Management methodology (e.g., Prosci, Association of Change Management Professionals, or Change Management Institute) or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.

  • Thorough understanding of communication and change analysis principles, methodologies and change management bestpractices.
  • A critical thinker with the ability to connect the dots and identify solutions.
  • An effective communicator (written and verbal) who tailors ideas in ways that are appropriate to the target audience.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions and insights from data.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills to support an agile product delivery
  • Well-developed cross-cultural communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustainproductive relationships.
  • Ability to think analytically and research widely, to identify solutions and resolve issues and to initiate and promoteactions.
  • Behaves in a respectful and professional manner, maintaining high integrity and transparency.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

Introduction Digital Project Services (DPS) delivers very complex, high value, and / or high-risk ICT programs and multiyear digital transformation initiatives for core frontline services through an inter-agency collaborative approach. DPS also provides a range of additional project management to support agency businesses.

In order to deliver the programs and projects, DPS rely extensively on service providers and their capability to source specialist services to meet the specific demands of the program needs.

Overview of the project & work unit the position is related to The Change and Communications Analyst will support the project by delivering a range of change management, engagement, communication and training activities. This includes analysing and documenting change impacts, developing and facilitating workshops and briefings, and producing clear and targeted communication materials. The role will contribute to engagement, training preparation, and business readiness activities to support stakeholder adoption and transition to business as usual. Strong partnerships with technical and business stakeholders will be maintained throughout the project, along with support for post implementation review and continuous improvement.
