Role Description

Porter Green is seeking a creative and organised Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join the team in Corio, VIC on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months.

This is a part-time/casual, on-site role, with regular working days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the potential for a third day per week depending on business needs. This role is ideal for someone who is confident across social media, content creation, and digital marketing, and is excited to contribute to a fast-growing lifestyle brand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day social media activity, creating engaging content, supporting digital campaigns, and helping maintain a strong and consistent brand presence across multiple channels during this maternity leave period.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
• Create engaging, high-quality content for multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Plan and schedule content using social media management tools such as Preview
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner while accurately representing the brand voice
• Analyse social media performance and adjust strategy to improve engagement, reach and growth
• Collaborate with the broader marketing team to create campaigns aligned with business goals
• Take high-quality photographs and videos for use across social media, website and email marketing
• Edit and retouch visual content using software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom
• Assist with or manage paid digital advertising across Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads
• Support ecommerce marketing initiatives
• Set up and manage email marketing campaigns
• Update and maintain the Shopify website
• Learn how to onboard products to B2B and B2C sales channels/websites, monitor sales channels and inventory, and liaise with customer support to resolve issues as required

Qualifications

• Skills in social media marketing and digital marketing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in content strategy and social media optimisation
• Confidence creating content across multiple digital platforms
• Knowledge of or interest in sustainable living and eco-friendly products
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or currently studying
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
