Recoveries Specialist

Due to growth within our company, we are seeking a motivated and eager Recoveries Specialist to come on board and join our supportive, collaborative and hardworking team! Ideally you will come from a similar role and will have experience in areas such as loss adjusting, property or motor claims recoveries. We are looking for a talented communicator who will engage well with key internal and external stakeholders. This role will be an integral part of the team and is a full time position currently available in Brisbane. Day To Day Duties Of The Role Will Include

• End to end management of the recoveries process within a portfolio of claims;
• Communicate with all stakeholders (internal and external) effectively and efficiently;
• Negotiate the recovery of claims (both insured and uninsured);
• Focus on the timely recovery of monies whilst at the same time maximising the recovery potential;
• Ensure the appropriate recording of work via relevant systems and processes;
• Ad-hoc administration and other team support as required.

Knowledge and experience required:

• Experience in a similar role (mandatory);
• Motor vehicle claims management preferred;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Excellent organisational and time management skills;
• Strong negotiation skills and excellent written and verbal communications;
• Ability to work autonomously;
• Knowledge of legal and court processes;
• Intermediate PC skills.
