  • Ensure compliance with WHS, procurement guidelines, and the Project Assessment and Building Policy Framework.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal teams, service providers, schools, and community stakeholders.
  • Provide high-quality, politically sensitive reporting and briefings to executives and government stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement through process innovation and strategic planning.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to capability development across the unit.

The Successful Candidate

  • Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure projects of $5M–$100M, ideally within government or education.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policy frameworks, WHS, and procurement practices.
  • Proven success leading diverse teams and building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with an ability to produce executive-level reports and briefings.
  • Strong understanding of the Project Assessment Framework and/or Building Policy Framework.
