Talent Acquisition Officer

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Talent Acquisition Officer to support recruitment activities within a local council in Melbourne's south-west.

This Role Involves

• Coordinating recruitment processes from advertising through to offer and onboarding
• Supporting candidate screening, interviews, employment checks and recruitment compliance
• Managing recruitment administration and maintaining accurate records in recruitment systems
• Working closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand and support their recruitment needs
• Providing clear and timely communication throughout the candidate journey
• Building positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders
• Managing competing priorities while delivering a high level of customer service
  
  

We are open to candidates with previous recruitment experience, either in-house or agency, as well as those with strong administration, customer service or stakeholder engagement backgrounds who are keen to develop a career in recruitment.

Experience within local government or using recruitment systems such as PageUp will be highly regarded.
