Open to an Interior Designer or Architect transitioning into Design Management.

Reporting to the Construction Director, the Design Manager will play a key role across multiple projects, working closely with clients, consultants and project teams from pre-construction through to project completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating the design process across tender, pre-construction and delivery phases.
- Managing consultant teams to achieve coordinated, high-quality design outcomes.
- Driving programme management, design coordination and stakeholder engagement.
- Identifying buildability, value engineering and design optimisation opportunities.
- Managing design risk, statutory approvals and regulatory compliance.
- Ensuring project outcomes align with programme, budget and quality objectives.
- Collaborating with construction teams to successfully deliver complex commercial projects.
About You
- Strong design management and consultant coordination experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A sound understanding of buildability, project delivery and construction methodology.
- Knowledge of Australian codes, standards and statutory approval processes.
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders across fast-paced project environments.
