The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a respected construction business in the search for a Senior Site Manager to join their commercial building division. Known for delivering high-quality builds across South Australia, this division focuses on impactful projects within the community, government, and industrial sectors. With a proven track record and a strong pipeline ahead, they deliver projects typically valued between $5M and $25M — with a clear emphasis on quality outcomes, stakeholder collaboration, and delivery excellence.

The Role

As Senior Site Manager, you will take full ownership of the site delivery process — from early works through to completion. You will work closely with a dedicated Project Manager and play a hands-on role in driving progress, safety, quality, and program on-site. This is more than just a site role though — it is an opportunity to help shape a growing division and be part of a business that values long-term relationships, quality delivery, and building a strong internal culture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day construction activities and coordinating site logistics
• Leading short-term programs and look-ahead schedules
• Supervising subcontractors and ensuring alignment with project milestones
• Upholding WHS, environmental, and quality compliance
• Supporting junior team members and fostering team capability
• Collaborating with consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders

You will have:

• Proven experience delivering commercial or industrial building projects
• Strong knowledge of site-based programming and sequencing
• The ability to lead a team and drive outcomes on site
• Confidence in dealing with subcontractors, consultants, and clients
• A proactive mindset and high attention to detail
• Full working rights and local industry knowledge
