About The Role Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, promoting and actively selling Palfinger products across VIC/TAS. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle. This is a hands-on field sales role requiring regular travel, customer visits, and attendance at key industry events. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Relationships

  • Maintain strong phone and face‑to‑face engagement with customers
  • Attend industry exhibitions and promotional events
  • Provide accurate and timely product advice
  • Resolve customer issues, including payments, complaints and warranty matters
  • Monitor competitive activity and emerging market trends

Business Development

  • Build and grow relationships across targeted industry sectors
  • Develop a call plan with clear strategies and objectives
  • Maintain quotation registers, forecasts and sales reporting
  • Deliver agreed revenue, GP and market share targets

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated successful field sales experience in road transport and/or waste industry
  • Existing relationships with truck dealers
  • Strong self‑motivation and territory management skills
  • High‑level communication, negotiation and relationship‑building capability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Sales Force and Greentree
  • Current driver’s licence
