Deputy Project Manager

Role We are seeking a motivated and skilled Project Support Officer / Deputy Project Manager to contribute to the successful delivery of critical defence projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring project objectives are met by providing expert support in planning, coordination, and execution. Your Duties Will Include

• Providing project support and coordination across all phases of the Defence Capability Life Cycle
• Preparing and managing project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports
• Supporting the development and execution of Defence Acquisition strategies
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Ensuring compliance with Defence policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks

Skills And Experience We Are Looking For

• Diploma in Project Management
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management (1-3 years)
• Knowledge of Defence Acquisition processes (1-3 years)
• Understanding of the Defence Capability Life Cycle (1-3 years)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• NV1 (Negative Vetting Level 1) security clearance
