Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW for a SAP Functional Analyst – EHS. The SAP Functional Analyst – EHS will support the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP EHS modules to meet business and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and configuring SAP EHS components such as Product Safety, Dangerous Goods, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, and Incident Management. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, compliance, and HR, to ensure that SAP EHS solutions align with safety, environmental, and occupational health standards. The analyst will manage testing, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, document processes, and provide end-user training and support to ensure effective system adoption. Qualifications

  • Strong functional expertise in SAP EHS (e.g., Product Safety, Dangerous Goods, Incident Management, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene), with experience in configuration, testing, and support.
  • Proficiency in gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and mapping processes within SAP modules.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams (ABAP, integration, basis) for implementations, enhancements, and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., WHS/OHS, environmental regulations, chemical safety, SDS/labels) and their application in SAP.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle incidents and service requests in a structured way.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience supporting business users and delivering training.
  • Experience in full lifecycle SAP projects (implementation, rollout, or upgrade) within EHS or related modules is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
