About The Role

We are seeking experienced SmartIQ / .NET Developers to support the sustainment, enhancement and delivery of critical passport systems and priority ICT initiatives.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with SmartIQ, Microsoft technologies, modern cloud platforms and full-stack application development. You will work as part of an Agile development team, contributing to application enhancements, maintenance, technical improvements and ongoing production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a full-stack SmartIQ / Vue.js / .NET development team.
  • Design, develop, enhance and maintain enterprise applications.
  • Manage multiple high-priority development work items in a dynamic Agile environment.
  • Develop SmartIQ templates, solutions and integrations as required.
  • Contribute to application sustainment, enhancements and new development initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and modernisation initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance within ICT development teams when required.
  • Support critical applications through shared 24x7 on-call support arrangements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on SmartIQ development experience.
  • 5+ years of .NET development experience.
  • Strong experience with C# / .NET technologies.
  • Experience with Vue.js or modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong full-stack application development experience.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Experience with enterprise application development, maintenance and support.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


Desirable

  • Experience working within an Australian Government / APS environment.
  • Experience with modern cloud platforms.
  • Experience supporting business-critical applications.
  • Experience with API integration and web services.
  • Experience providing production support and participating in 24x7 on-call arrangements.
  • Relevant experience in document generation, workflow or business process automation platforms.


Candidate Profile

We are looking for developers who are technically strong in SmartIQ and .NET, comfortable working across the full technology stack, and able to contribute effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
