- Full-time ongoing | 80 hours per fortnight
- Monday – Friday | 5.30am – 2.00pm
- 5 weeks annual leave | ADO per 4 weeks
About The Role The Food Services team is an essential part of the patient journey, delivering safe, high-quality meals that support nutrition, recovery and overall patient wellbeing. As the Food Services Store Person, you will support the Food Services Supervisor/Unit Manager by coordinating the receipt, storage and distribution of food and supplies, helping to ensure the department operates efficiently. Key Accountabilities
- Receive, check and sign for all food and supply deliveries.
- Store, rotate and monitor stock to maintain food safety and quality standards.
- Prepare daily food service items and organise meal trolleys for distribution.
- Deliver food, stock and requisitions to wards and departments across the hospital.
- Maintain clean and organised storerooms, refrigerators and freezers.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management to support daily Food Services operations.
About You
- Safe Food Handling Certificate for Health Industry or equivalent
- Previous experience in storekeeping or a similar role
- Stock control and storage knowledge
- The ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
