Business Manager

We’re partnering with Tradelink to appoint a Business Manager to lead the branch to its next phase of growth.

If you’ve cut your teeth leading a trade-focused branch (think plumbing wholesale or closely related) or a branch-leader in wholesale that loves building contractor relationships, and want true autonomy to grow people, sales and margin then this is for you!

The Opportunity

You’ll have end-to-end ownership of branch performance leading a multi-function team (sales reps, internal sales, warehousing/logistics), lifting service, product mix and profitability, and deepening ties with local plumbing contractors and key suppliers. It’s hands-on leadership with the scope to shape your own team and build the business over the long term.

Daily Outlook

• Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver measurable results.
• Drive revenue, market share and margin with smart sales/product strategies.
• Manage systems and procedures to control overall branch performance.
• Build enduring relationships with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Be visible in the local trade ecosystem and win new commercial opportunities.

What We Need

• Proven success in a senior branch/assistant branch leadership role (plumbing wholesale ideal, adjacent trade wholesale also welcome).
• A client-focused, results-driven style with confident, on-floor leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen and decisive, accountable decision-making.
• Relationship builder who knows the local market (Mornington Peninsula).
• Full Australian work rights and a current driver’s licence.

Package & Perks

• Base: $100–110k (up to ~$120k DOE) + super
• Extras: potential profit share + vehicle, laptop and phone
• Hours: Mon–Fri, 6:30am–4:30pm
• Location: 285 Thompson Rd, Bell Park VIC 3215
