As our scope of works increases and strengthens, we are seeking multiple Defence Fuel Installation Operators (DFI Operator) to join our team at Tindal RAAF Base, NT. The Role - Defence Fuel Installations Operator (DFI Operator) Based in Katherine/Tindal NT and led by an Operations Supervisor, this position supports multiple fuel installation sites. As a DFI Operator, You Will

• Report to the Operations Advisor (OA) and perform a range of operational and functional tasks across the installation.
• Ensure the safe, compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations.
• Oversee fuel quality, compliance, quantity, and availability, including related systems and processes.
• Maintain technical integrity of fuel through quality control sampling and testing.
• Bring experience from similar environments—fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing industries—highly regarded.

No prior Defence or Fuel Industry experience? No problem. While Defence or fuel industry experience is advantageous, UGL’s comprehensive training and development programs provide a pathway into the industry. You’ll receive the skills and knowledge needed to perform your role safely, including access to specialised interstate facilities and a mix of onsite and offsite training throughout your career. What You Will Need

• A valid driver’s licence (HR or HC desirable but not essential at entry).
• Ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
• Residency in Katherine/Tindal or willingness to relocate (close proximity to Tindal RAAF Base).
