Job Description Join our Sydney team as a full-time Dispatch Coordinator. This role entails processing outbound orders, preparing freight for transport, and creating daily schedules for drivers. This Role Will Primarily Involve

  • Scan and dispatch freight
  • Stack and wrap pallets along with other warehouse duties where required
  • Create air and road consignment notes (using both a computer and manual system)
  • Lodge and collect freight at air and sea terminals
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, completing deliveries on occasion
  • Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the customer needs
  • Prepare daily work schedules and notify drivers of road hazards that may impact their travel time
  • Monitor daily driver logs for errors, violations, working hours and equipment availability
  • Process export and import shipments

You Will Have

  • 2 - 3 years of warehousing experience
  • Customer service experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • A current forklift license or willingness to obtain one
  • A certificate I-II in Warehousing & Distribution and/or experience in 3PL warehouse and freight forwarding will be highly regarded
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Experience using dispatch software is highly desirable
