Design & Detailing Manager

About You

• Demonstrated experience in a production, construction or manufacturing environment focused on construction detailing and engineered design.
• A minimum of 5+ years of design, detailing, drafting or engineering management experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail. Working understanding of LGS and steel detailing processes. FrameCAD or similar experience would be viewed with particular interest.
• Ability to lead and manage high performing teams, and work alongside high performing sales, production and construction management personnel.
• A strong understanding of residential and commercial construction methodology and framing systems, National Construction Code, NASH Standards, AS/NZS 4600 and AS 4100.
• Ideally tertiary qualified in Construction, Drafting, Design, Engineering, Technical Drawing, Project Management or another building related discipline, or another qualification or relevant experience deemed to be equivalent.
