About The Role
WesTrac is seeking a commercially minded Supply Chain & Commercial Business Partner to join our Supply Chain team. This is a unique opportunity to influence business performance by partnering with operational and functional leaders to optimise inventory, improve working capital outcomes and deliver data-driven commercial insights.
Working across the business, you will leverage supply chain analytics, financial modelling and performance reporting to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for an experienced supply chain, commercial or business partnering professional who enjoys translating complex data into actionable outcomes.
You'll play a key role in shaping supply chain strategy by influencing inventory performance, working capital outcomes and operational decision-making across the business. If you enjoy partnering with leaders, solving complex business challenges and using data to drive results, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to drive supply chain and inventory performance.
- Deliver commercial insights through data analysis and financial modelling.
- Optimise inventory holdings and support working capital initiatives.
- Support S&OP processes to improve forecasting and operational outcomes.
- Develop executive reporting, dashboards and business performance insights.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities across supply chain operations.
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualification in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
- Experience in supply chain, commercial analysis, inventory management or business partnering roles.
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Experience translating complex data into meaningful business recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
- Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
