Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Program Support Officer in the Researcher Development Unit, you'll be pivotal in supporting academic growth at the University of Melbourne. You will gain invaluable experience in:

  • Coordinating Research Development Programs: Provide administrative and operational support for RDU programs, ensuring smooth execution of in-person and online sessions.
  • Managing Event Logistics: Organise, set up, and attend program sessions while maintaining attendance records and managing Canvas LMS enrolments.
  • Enhancing Participant Experience: Ensure a high-quality experience through effective communication and assist with promotional activities for program sessions.
  • Collaborating Across the University: Attend meetings as an RDU representative and work respectfully with academics and professional staff at all levels.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced academic environment.

Additional Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Canvas or similar learning management systems.
