The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is seeking a Partnership Manager to drive its corporate engagement strategy. This is your chance to work with one of Australia's most iconic cultural events, known globally for its creative and eclectic programming.

As Partnership Manager, you'll collaborate with the Executive Director, Marketing & Partnership Director, and a Partnership Consultant to develop and implement strategies for securing and maintaining private support. Your role will involve preparing proposals, responding to sponsor enquiries, managing partner activities, and delivering post-event reporting. You'll also work closely with Venue Partners and Drinking & Dining Partners to enhance the audience hospitality experience, including bars, pourage rights, and corporate entertainment packages. While corporate partnerships are the primary focus, you'll also support philanthropic donations and grants from government, trusts, and foundations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute partnership strategies
  • Secure and manage corporate sponsorships
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Deliver outstanding audience experiences

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in partnership management or similar role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment
