What You’ll Be Doing:

• 🧱 Play a key role in a tight-knit engineering team (16), building systems for scale, speed, and resilience.
• 🛠 Building backend functionality and features with GoLang
• 💡 Review systems for consistency, error handling, and engineering patterns that set the standard, not follow it.
• 🤝 Collaborate with product and design while maintaining high autonomy
• 🧰 Tech stack includes AWS Lambda, ECS (Fargate), API Gateway, Golang, Node.js, Python, and Terraform.

What You Bring:

• 🧠 A backend or infrastructure-first mindset—you know how code works and how to optimise it in production.
• 🎯 Detail-oriented and methodical; you spot gaps, remove inefficiencies, and clean up messes.
• ⚙️ Deep knowledge of backend architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• 🧪 An independent thinker who thrives outside the herd—proactive and comfortable owning outcomes.
• 🧠 Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and enterprise patterns.
• 👨‍💻 You’ve worked in small, high-performing teams delivering technical outcomes—this is not an agency gig.
