The Opportunity We're seeking a talented Cost Controller to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance analysis as part of our Finance Team. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders, enhance financial processes, and drive continuous improvement to support effective decision-making. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and management of budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, cash flow and month‑end financial reporting
  • Monitor project/bid expenditures and track costs against approved budgets
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide meaningful insights to senior stakeholders
  • Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and commentary
  • Partner with business units to explain financial performance and identify opportunities
  • Identify cost risks and implement cost control measures
  • Review contractor invoices, purchase orders, and change requests for accuracy
  • Update and review revenue claims to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with corporate planning cycles and long‑range financial modelling
  • Contribute to improvements in reporting, systems, and financial governance
  • Support compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and organisational policies

About You

  • Experience in a finance, commercial, or analytical role within a complex organisation
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret data into clear insights
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, TM1, Power BI desirable)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels
  • Degree qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline
  • Progression toward CA/CPA (preferred but not essential)
