Role Overview: Estimator (Signage & Branding)

The estimating function is vital to our operations. We’re seeking someone who excels in data accuracy, possesses an eye for detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about improving processes and procedures.

Company Context

We manufacture signage products generated via CAD/CAM, produced through 16 trades using a variety of materials including metal, plastic, composites, powder coating, paint, LED electrical lighting, and more. Our product is transported and installed as a finished package. Prior experience in signage manufacture is beneficial, though estimating experience in multi-skilled industries may also be suitable—metal fabrication is highly central to our signage work.

About the Role

Work collaboratively with the sales and design teams to understand project scope and ensure estimates are commercially sound

Evaluate project specifications and requirements to deliver accurate quotations

Estimate costs for materials, labour, installation, packing, and freight

Propose alternative materials and manufacturing methods to improve cost-efficiency and remain competitive

Contribute to quoting tool and process improvements through innovative thinking

Desired Experience & Must-Haves

Substantial estimating experience within a multi‑skilled signage, manufacturing, or construction environment

Strong computer literacy, especially in estimating software and MS Office

Proficiency in 3D modelling—SolidWorks CAD or similar essential

Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
