Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training)About The Role We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and improve the next generation of AI systems. Your deep domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex chemistry problems — from undergraduate fundamentals to advanced graduate-level topics. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of science and cutting-edge AI, collaborating with leading research labs from anywhere in the world.

What You'll Do

  • Design challenging, graduate-level chemistry problems to rigorously test AI performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
  • Develop clear, step-by-step solution walkthroughs with precise, well-structured reasoning
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and quality
  • Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry
  • Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI reasoning in STEM fields

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities across advanced chemistry domains
  • Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and rigorous reasoning
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic research
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows
  • Background spanning multiple chemistry subdisciplines
