Factory Supervisor - Modular

About The Role We are seeking a hands-on Factory Supervisor to lead production operations within our modular manufacturing facility in Riverview. You will be responsible for overseeing daily factory production activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of up to 15 permanent and labour hire employees while coordinating workflows across multiple trades and work groups. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in achieving production targets, maintaining compliance, and fostering a strong safety-first culture. Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Promote and maintain a strong Health, Safety & Wellbeing culture across the factory.
• Coordinate workflows across multiple trades to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and operational performance.
• Support production planning and scheduling activities, including workflow management.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, production, and document control requirements.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to support manufacturing activities.
• Complete and maintain accurate production, quality, and safety records.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

About You

• Trade certificate in carpentry, cabinet making or joinery
• A strong commitment to Health, Safety & Wellbeing and the ability to lead by example
• Proven experience supervising production teams within a manufacturing, construction, or modular building environment
• Strong, hands-on leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams
• Production planning and scheduling experience, including the use of Gantt charts
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
