What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced material science problems with real-world scientific relevance
• Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related domains to design complex, nuanced problem statements
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning in materials science
• Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, rigor, and depth
• Ensure every deliverable meets a high standard of scientific clarity and precision

Who You Are

• Master's or PhD in Materials Science or a closely related field from a recognized university
• Strong expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or adjacent disciplines
• Comfortable coding in Python or MATLAB for research or technical problem-solving
• Exceptional written communicator who can explain complex concepts with clarity
• Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold yourself and your work to a high scientific standard
• Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in computational materials science or materials informatics
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation
• Experience writing or reviewing technical documentation, research papers, or grant proposals
