Your new role As Head of Operations, you are accountable for national operational performance and scalability. You will ensure psychological services are delivered efficiently, predictably, and in line with contractual and organisational commitments. You will oversee utilisation, capacity management, administration, intake and scheduling, systems optimisation, and continuous improvement, enabling clinicians to focus on client care while meeting demand. As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the following core areas across national service delivery: Operational performance
- Translate strategy into national operating plans, capacity models, and SLAs
- Own utilisation targets, performance dashboards, and operational rhythms
- Oversee national intake, scheduling, administration, and billing functions
Systems & data
- Optimise practice management and scheduling systems
- Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational insights
- Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement
Compliance & quality
- Own national operational compliance frameworks
- Partner closely with the Head of Clinical Services to align operational and clinical governance
- Oversee audits, quality assurance, and escalation mechanisms
Change & leadership
- Lead national operational change initiatives and transformation projects
- Build capability, clarity, and engagement across operational teams
- Partner with Finance, People & Culture, IT, Sales, and Marketing
About You You are an execution‑focused leader who thrives in complexity and scale. You bring discipline, clarity, and commercial acumen, while understanding the nuances of service‑based and healthcare environments. You Will Bring
- Senior leadership experience in health, psychology, or professional services operations
- Strong utilisation, capacity planning, and SLA management experience
- Advanced data literacy and operational reporting capability
- Experience leading national administration or service delivery teams
- Proven change leadership in complex, multi‑site environments
