Our Ormeau Site Is Growing, And We Are Looking For Two Team Managers To Join Our Operation On The Following Rosters
- Monday – Friday Afternoon Shift commencing at 2pm
- Tuesday – Saturday Day Shift commencing at 6am
What You’ll Do As a Team Manager in our cold storage warehouse operation, you will lead and support a team of frontline team members to deliver safe, efficient and reliable shift performance. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee daily operational activity, drive productivity, maintain high standards of food safety and compliance, and ensure our customers’ temperature-controlled products are handled with care from receipt through to dispatch.
- Lead, coach and support a team of warehouse operators in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment
- Plan and control daily shift activity, including labour allocation, workflow priorities, equipment usage and KPI performance
- Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, food safety and cold chain compliance, ensuring procedures are followed consistently
- Monitor warehouse performance across receiving, put-away, picking, replenishment, loading, dispatch and inventory accuracy
- Work closely with internal departments, transport partners and subcontractors to resolve operational issues and meet customer requirements
- Drive team performance through clear communication, regular feedback, training, accountability and development pathways
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce delays, minimise waste and support continuous improvement across the shift
What Experience And Education You Need Ideally you are someone who has exceptional attention to detail and who prides themselves on being deadline oriented and can maintain a high level of productivity.
- Minimum 3 years of proven operational management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large teams.
- Knowledge of distribution operations.
- Strong people management skills.
- Cross-functional leadership with multiple teams.
- Experience in effective decision-making in a fast-moving business environment.
