About The Team When you join the Finance team, you’ll be joining the cornerstone of our operations, providing crucial guidance and governance to support ARTC's strategic objectives. The team is actively engaged in internal planning to enhance our strategic planning, risk management, and decision-making processes. About The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Corporate Card Officer to join our Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the administration and reporting of ARTC’s Delegation of Authority and Corporate Card systems. You will conduct regular audits, engage with cardholders and approvers, and provide guidance on compliance with ARTC’s policies and procedures. You will also assist in training the broader business to ensure best practice use of Corporate Cards and adherence to internal controls.
- Administer and report on ARTC’s Delegations of Authority and Corporate Card systems.
- Conduct monthly audits of Flexi Purchase statements, ensuring compliance with tax, policy, and appropriate business use.
- Review and escalate potential misuse or non-compliance and follow up with cardholders and approvers.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, including supporting evidence for all transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and analysis for Corporate Card usage and compliance trends.
- Perform monthly reconciliations and journal entries relating to Corporate Card transactions.
- Support the ongoing review and improvement of related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Deliver training sessions to new starters and existing staff on Corporate Card and Delegation processes.
- Provide backup support to the Transactions Team as required.
- Verify vendor bank details to ensure accurate and secure payments.
- Ensure month-end processing is completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate closely with the Transactions Manager and wider finance team to support financial governance and compliance.
What do we want from you?
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills , with the ability to identify patterns and resolve discrepancies.
- Experience in account reconciliations and working with financial data.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet creation and manipulation , including Excel and related tools.
- Strong attention to detail , with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Proven customer service skills , with a professional and helpful approach to internal stakeholders.
- Experience with FlexiPurchase or similar expense/corporate card systems (desirable).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office , particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and data analysis (desirable).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support shared objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills , with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
