As a Senior Civil Engineer in our Brisbane office, you will lead the delivery of high-quality civil engineering design and consulting services across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects throughout Queensland. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will provide technical leadership, mentor and develop engineers, and drive design excellence across the Transport, Buildings, Energy, Water and Resources sectors. You will also play an important role in strengthening client relationships, supporting business development, and helping grow the capability of our Civil Infrastructure team. The Opportunity
- Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, including road and pavement design, stormwater systems, bulk earthworks, water and sewer reticulation, utility coordination, and site development.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams, overseeing technical quality, project budgets, resources, schedules, and the preparation of drawings, reports, specifications, and tender submissions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring, supporting the development of team members while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across the business.
- Build trusted relationships with government agencies, contractors, private developers, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional project outcomes and identify new business opportunities.
- Champion design excellence by ensuring compliance with relevant standards, quality management systems, and industry best practice while embracing innovation and digital engineering tools.

- A recognised tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with 10+ years of consulting experience delivering complex civil infrastructure projects; CPEng registration is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated expertise in civil engineering design across roadworks, pavements, stormwater, bulk earthworks, utilities, and site development, with knowledge of Queensland and Australian design standards.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, manage project budgets, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Experience using industry-leading digital engineering tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D, InfraWorks, NavisWorks, and an awareness of technologies such as Bluebeam, ProjectWise, 12d, ArcGIS, Python, or VBA highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills, with a commercial mindset, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
