Procurement is broken. Every day, billions in contracts get awarded through RFPs. Too often, the best technology loses to whoever has the biggest proposal team.

We're changing that. Our platform helps companies respond to RFPs in hours instead of weeks. With a team of 3 engineers and only 2 years of development, we're already winning against established players - with Fortune 500 companies choosing us over much larger alternatives.

We're now looking for a senior engineer to join our engineering team as we prepare for rapid growth.

Location: Spring Hill, Brisbane (5 days in office)

Team: 11 people total - 6 in Brisbane, 5 in Vancouver

Salary: Starting at $180,000 plus bonus based on company performance

Start: Immediate (Australian working rights required)

The Opportunity

In every interface in incumbent software built before generative AI, we see an opportunity to expand our edge by automating the process that interface aimed to streamline. While others bolt AI onto existing RFP tools, we're automating the entire response process from scratch.

Our platform already handles hundreds of RFPs monthly. You'll own systems that:

• Import questionnaires from anywhere - messy Excel files, massive PDFs, legacy web portals
• Search across millions of documents to find the perfect answer to question #2,847
• Generate AI responses for thousands of requirements while maintaining complete transparency and auditability
• Support real-time collaboration without losing complex tables, images, or formatting
• Integrate with Slack, Microsoft Teams and 12 other products
• Are so reliable that Fortune 500 companies trust us with deals worth millions

But this is just the beginning of what's possible. Some of what's ahead:

• Evolving our search to be even faster and smarter across millions of responses, knowledge bases, and integrated systems
• Building analytics that help companies shape their product roadmap based on what the market is asking for
• Building tools that surface competitive intelligence and help users weaponize it

Many of our customers spend their entire working day in our platform. You'll be building features that directly impact how they work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ship production code from day one
• Own critical platform features end-to-end, from architecture decisions through deployment
• Work directly with founders to set technical and product priorities
• Collaborate directly with customers - join calls to understand their workflows and ship solutions that solve their problems
• Drive engineering excellence as we scale the team

Tech Stack

Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Firebase, AWS, and cutting-edge AI technology. But we're more interested in your ability to learn and deliver than your current stack.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years building products people use
• Strong system architecture skills with a track record of scalable solutions
• Comfortable making technical decisions independently
• Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)

Great to have:

• Interest in growing into technical leadership
• Experience at fast-growing startups
• Built AI/ML systems in production
• Experience with document processing or enterprise SaaS
• Experience building search or information retrieval systems
