Role Description The Commercial Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Seaford, VIC, responsible for driving commercial sales and building strong relationships with builders, developers, and project managers across Melbourne and Victoria. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying new commercial leads, conducting site visits, preparing quotations, and presenting tailored scaffolding solutions that align with project requirements and timelines. The role involves managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, following up on enquiries, negotiating pricing and terms, and coordinating closely with operations to ensure smooth delivery and installation. The Commercial Sales Executive will also monitor market trends, maintain accurate sales records, and contribute to business planning and growth initiatives. Collaboration with internal teams to resolve customer issues, improve service offerings, and support long-term client partnerships is a key part of the position.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Commercial Account Management skills, with experience building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities, including handling enquiries, resolving issues, and delivering a positive client experience.
- Knowledge of Business Planning and basic commercial acumen, with the ability to contribute to forecasts, targets, and growth strategies.
- Familiarity with Insurance and risk considerations related to construction or scaffolding services is beneficial.
- Previous experience in construction, scaffolding, building supplies, or related industries is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence conducting site visits and client meetings.
- Ability to work on-site, travel to client locations across Melbourne and Victoria, and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Relevant qualification in sales, business, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
