The property offers modern sophistication and comfort. The hotel features 110 refined accommodation rooms and apartments, including 10 accessible units. Guests will enjoy two exceptional restaurants, stylish bars, and five flexible conference and event spaces. Premium facilities like a state-of-the-art fitness centre, indoor pool, and sauna make it an ideal destination for both leisure and business travelers.

Role Description

This full-time position located in Geelong, is for a Conference and Events Sales Manager. The primary responsibilities include managing and growing the hotel's conference and event sales, building strong client relationships, and maximizing revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities. You’ll oversee event planning, coordinate with internal teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure all events run smoothly. The role also involves negotiating contracts, preparing proposals, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and event logistics.

Qualifications

  • Sales and negotiation skills, with proven experience in conference and event management
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in event planning software and MS Office Suite
  • Experience in hospitality or a similar industry
  • Ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with other departments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
